Following a run of acclaimed releases and celebrated collaborations, Sababa 5 return with their most compelling record yet – Nadir. Out via Batov Records, this LP delivers a deeper, darker and more cinematic fusion of psychedelic soul and Middle Eastern rock.

The title references both an astronomical concept and metaphorical low point, capturing the album’s mood: shadowy, introspective and rhythmically charged. Opener “VU” sets a mysterious tone with swirling guitars and Arabesque organ, while the title track recalls Mediterranean noir with synths, acid rock textures, and soundtrack vibes. Elsewhere, “Tell” offers a Turkish-inspired groove lifted by melodic synths, bringing light into the mix.
