Record Store Day 2025

Record Store Day 2025 is upon us! It felt appropriate to pull together a handy guide/FAQ's page to put your mind at ease ahead of the day.

The full list of titles announced for RSD 2025 is linked here.

The full list of stock we currently have at the shop for the event is linked here.

If you have any questions, please read below before getting in touch.

Parking: The Mill car park will not open until 6am, please do not park on Park Lane (the entrance road to the mill) as this is strictly for residents only. From 6am onwards you can park in the car park.
*The 'Fred Again' titles have unfortunately had to be cancelled due to manufacturing delays, a message from Atlantic Records:
"We will of course share with you the updated global release date as soon as we have it, share our plans around it, and would love for you to still celebrate the release with us when the time comes if you're still up for it!'*

FAQ's:
  • When is Record Store Day (RSD)? Saturday April 12th! It's on the banner above, you can't miss it.
  • What time will you be open from? 8am is the earliest time that participating shops are allowed to start selling RSD releases.
  • Can i queue up before then? Of course - last year we even had our first pre midnight queuer! If you plan to start queuing up before 6am, please do so at the front entrance path gate for Leigh Spinners Mill down Park Lane (where we are based, linked here on maps). The mill will be locked until then, until I arrive to open up, from then on you can queue inside.
  • Can i get more than one copy of a release? Nope, sorry. Just 1 of a release per person, though you can get as many different titles as you would like.
  • Can i order online? You can't order RSD releases online until Monday 14th April at 8pm, as per the rules of the event. From that time onward, any remaining stock will be available to click and collect or order to home via our website.
  • I can't see the release I want on your website? When the date for RSD is first announced, we share a wish list form with our customers via social media and our newsletter, where they can register interest (but not reserve) what they would like to get on the day. With 400+ titles announced for the event, this helps us get a view of the demand for each which informs how much and what stock we request for the day. If a title gets 0 requests, we are unlikely to stock it.
  • If a release sells out before i can get a copy, are you able to get more? In some cases yes, in some no. It is definitely worth asking as there are some we will be able to get more of, e.g. at the moment of typing this we can top up the Mr Bongo 45 box set, but not Taylor Swift or Wicked unfortunately as they were particularly limited.
  • Isn't every day Record Store Day? Yes! Great attitude.

If any more questions are asked frequently I will be sure to add them here.

Best of luck on the day!
