Aldeia de Ogum' is one of her most well- known songs . With a joyfully jazzy
arrangement, building Latin percussion, Brazilian fute and tropical atmosphere,
this full- bodied samba smash became an anthem amongst London's DJs and
dancers in the Acid Jazz days. A favourite of Patrick Forge and Gilles Peterson, it
was regularly spun at their legendary Dingwalls sessions.
