Blane Muise, better known by her stage name, Shygirl, is an English singer, DJ, rapper, songwriter and co-head / founder of record label and collective, Nuxxe.
Shygirl’s music incorporates elements of dance music, industrial hip-hop, experimental pop, grime and deconstructed club.
The release of ‘fabric presents Shygirl’ marks the beginning of fabric’s 25th anniversary celebrations, with Shygirl leading the charge as the first of five artists to curate mixes throughout the year, each featuring the CD tins.
Shygirl has gained recent support from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Mixmag, with BBC Radio / 6 Music following her ‘Club Shy’ EP.
